Refunds

How refunds are handled for support payments, prepaid pilot memberships and services engagements.

1

What this page covers

There are three ways money can change hands with SurveyMarkup: optional support payments, prepaid pilot memberships (offered to invited users), and per-engagement advisory review services. This page summarises how refunds work for each. It sits alongside our Terms of Use, which state the terms for each payment type.

2

Who you are dealing with

SurveyMarkup is operated by Tim Albash, sole trader, ABN 50 427 523 590. SurveyMarkup is not registered for GST, so no GST is charged and every payment record is issued as a receipt.

3

Optional support payments

Support payments are entirely optional and do not purchase access or any other entitlement. If you make one by mistake or want it returned, email admin@surveymarkup.com and we will consider the request and handle the refund manually, subject to applicable law.

4

Prepaid pilot memberships

Prepaid pilot memberships are offered to invited users only. Each offer states its price, prepaid term and refund window before you pay. Refunds are available within the refund window as stated in your offer at purchase — email admin@surveymarkup.com with your receipt reference. A refund returns the membership entitlement to its prior state: your prepaid term ends and your account returns to standard pilot access.

5

Services engagements

Advisory QA review services are scoped and agreed per engagement. Refunds for a services engagement are handled as set out in the written engagement agreement for that job, agreed with you before any work begins.

6

How to make a request

Email admin@surveymarkup.com from the address on the account or engagement, with the receipt reference if you have it. Refund requests are reviewed and handled manually; when a refund is agreed, it is returned to the original payment method.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing on this page excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. If a consumer guarantee applies to something you have paid for, your remedies under that law apply in addition to anything described on this page.
