What is Checkmarkup?+
Checkmarkup is an AI-assisted QA tool for surveyors. It parses your reduction files (.fld, .rpt, TXT, PDF), runs a set of detection rules, highlights issues with severity and suggested next actions, and lets you export a shareable QA report.
Does Checkmarkup replace a qualified surveyor?+
No. Checkmarkup is a decision-support tool. It surfaces risk and explains it, but every finding still needs review by a competent surveyor or supervisor before relying on the data. We never automatically certify or correct a survey.
What file formats are supported?+
Currently .fld and .rpt (12d output, UTF-16 / UTF-8 / cp1252 auto-detected), .txt, and PDF reduction reports. We add formats based on customer requests.
Is my data secure?+
Yes. We never overwrite raw files. Files stay encrypted at rest, are sent over TLS, and you can delete them at any time. Enterprise customers can self-host.
Where is my data stored?+
On Checkmarkup Cloud, data is stored in your chosen region (AU, EU, or US). Enterprise customers can run on-prem with no data leaving their infrastructure.
How accurate is the issue detection?+
The rules are deliberately conservative — they prefer to flag risk and let a surveyor judge. Each finding includes severity, suggested cause and next action so you can act on it efficiently.
